We are recruiting two Trainee Financial Advisers on behalf of a respected, high?net?worth financial planning firm in the city.
This is a rare opportunity to join a firm known for developing outstanding advisers through a structured, 12–24 month Adviser Academy, offering full training, exam support, and real client exposure from day one.

The Role
As a Trainee Financial Adviser, you will begin by supporting a Senior Adviser, learning the full advice process while studying towards your qualifications.
You will gain hands?on exposure to:
- Financial administration & client onboarding
- Preparing documentation & financial plans
- Attending client meetings
- Prospecting and relationship building
- Writing suitability reports
- Understanding pensions, investments, protection & tax planning
This programme is designed to progress you into a fully competent Financial Adviser within 12–24 months, supported by both the firm and the Quilter network.
What They’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong ambition to become a Financial Adviser
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence, professionalism, resilience
- Ability to learn fast and work full?time in office during training
Preferred (but not essential):
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar
- Experience in Financial Services, professional services or sales
- Previous admin or client?facing experience
This role suits motivated graduates, career changers, or individuals already working in FS who want to progress into advising.
Progression & Earnings Potential
- Earn commission from day one through referrals
- After qualification:
- 6 months at 0% validation
- Next 6 months at 60% validation
- 12 months+ at 120% validation
- Up to 150% validation if choosing a dedicated PA or additional support
- Graduates of the academy are gifted ~100 clients, typically representing £10m+ AUA
