A fast-growing Commercial Insurance Broker is seeking a talented Underwriter to join their Team. The Underwriter will be responsible for assisting with the underwriting of new business submissions and maintaining existing business focussing on Commercial Combined, Liability, Professional Indemnity, Contractors All Risks business. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the insurance industry and work with a team of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
•    Assist with the underwriting of new business submissions.
•    Evaluate risk and determine pricing and coverage.
•    Work closely with other underwriters to ensure policies are accurately underwritten.
•    Provide excellent customer service to brokers and clients.
•    Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and clients.
•    Handle policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
•    Assist with special projects as needed.

What’s needed for me to be considered?
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Knowledge of insurance industry and underwriting principles either from a broker or insurer
