This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team with one of the UK’s fastest growing law firms. Supporting the Partner, you will help to shape and develop client relationships and enhance the profile of the team in the local market.
What You Will Do
This role will deal with a broad range of Commercial litigation work, working with client that range from large multinationals and financial institutions through to local owner-managed businesses and SMEs, and advising regularly on both domestic and international disputes.
In this role you will be joining a team that offers depth of experience and insight acting for clients in both claimant and defendant roles, balancing regulatory compliance, media-scrutiny and strong commercial objectives.
Due to the type of work that is covered, sensitivity and care towards cases and the approach to disputes for clients is a top priority, and something that differs this role from City headquartered firms.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 4 years PQE
- Experience in general Commercial Litigation work and running your own caseload
- An interest in Business Development, networking and enhancing our local presence
- Relevant experience in Retail & Consumer, Banking & Finance, or Energy and Infrastructure would be of interest
- Financial ombudsman experience is beneficial but not essential
